What is AcuCoach?
AcuCoach is a 3-month weight-loss program for the person who always falls back into patterns of eating that cause weight gain. The program works because it is tailored to your body and lifestyle.
AcuCoach consists of 12 weekly sessions over a 3-month period. Each appointment includes a 15 minute coaching session and a 20 minute acupuncture session where we explore the changes you are getting ready to make.
The coaching keeps your motivation going and the acupuncture supports your progress by speeding up your metabolism, stopping your cravings, and lowering your stress levels. You will also have additional email support between sessions for questions and sharing.
Because we've created the program that works best for you, it will be easy to continue your success long after the AcuCoach program is completed.
Examples of My Weekly Targets might be:
- For this week, I will only snack on fruits and vegetables between meals.
- I will walk for a minimum of 10 minutes three times this week.
- I will go to bed an hour earlier four times this week to help balance my hormones.
- I will reduce stress by only watching the news once a day for 15 minutes.
- I'll take all the snack food out of my desk at work.
- I'll ask about joining a gym in my neighborhood and get the rates.
- I will add hot liquids like tea and soup to my meals, to help me feel full.
